1. Preparatory Work
Evenly coat the surface of the PET film with reversible thermochromic ink, then laminate a hot-melt adhesive layer onto it, and finally cut it into standard rolls using a slitting machine.
2. Pattern Design
Create the desired transfer patterns or text on a computer.
3. Laser Cutting and Engraving
Place the Thermochromic Engraving Vinyl into a laser marking machine, then precisely engrave the pre-designed patterns onto the film using laser technology.
4. Weeding Process
Use weeding tools to strip away the unused parts of the cutting film, leaving only the transfer-ready patterns on the transparent PET base film.
5. Heat Press Transfer
Lay the cutting film pattern-side up on the target fabric, then use a heat press machine to apply heat and pressure for the transfer.
6. Base Film Peeling
Choose either cold peeling or hot peeling based on the type of cutting film, then remove the transparent PET base film from the printed substrate.
