Process Steps for Velvet Heat Transfer Label
1. Raw Material Preparation
Select textile raw materials for velvet weaving according to product specifications, complete raw material pre-treatment including winding, warping and sizing, conduct double-layer interweaving via velvet loom, and slitting the woven grey fabric. Note: Use high-quality velvet raw materials for optimal texture and durability.
2. Fabric Pre-treatment
Carry out sequential pre-treatment of desizing, scouring and bleaching on velvet grey fabric, complete fabric dyeing, color fixing and washing as per color number requirements, perform pre-shrinking, pile carding, shearing and heat setting. Important: Ensure thorough color fixing to prevent fading during washing.
3. Adhesive Coating and Lamination
Remove floating pile and impurities on the back of finished velvet fabric, conduct surface activation treatment on the fabric back base, coat low-melting hot melt adhesive on the fabric back, laminate with release carrier under constant temperature and pressure after low-temperature drying, and obtain velvet heat transfer composite roll. Warning: Control adhesive thickness to ensure proper adhesion without stiffness.
4. Pattern Die-cutting
Complete plate making according to customized pattern file, die-cut the velvet heat transfer composite roll, remove excess waste outside the pattern, slit as per specifications. Tip: Use high-precision die-cutting equipment for intricate patterns.
5. Positioning and Heat Pressing
Pre-press and flatten the substrate fabric, fit and fix the velvet heat transfer label on the designated position of the substrate fabric as per design positioning requirements, apply constant temperature and pressure heat pressing via heat press machine, peel off the release carrier, and complete garment production. Note: Use appropriate heat press settings based on fabric type.
